Is It Flowers You’re After?

During the first lock down of COVID 2020, I had an extreme interest in flowers. My Mum is a huge fan of flowers and I really enjoyed painting them when I was young. However, I was really intrigued in studying my favorite flowers and painting them, every day of lock-down.

I studied one flower a day, I drew it in all of it’s forms, learnt about how it grew and it’s qualities. Soon enough, I had created a mini book full of botanical illustrations and information about beautiful flowers. I later used it as my main resource in creating more intricate paintings. One of my absoloute favourite flowers is the Peony flower. I draw and paint them absolutely everywhere!
